Also, sorry for the lack of updates lately. I've made a gradual transition away from art into music and stuff, and I haven't been motivated to draw or animate. This summer tho, I may get back into art to build up my art portfolio for college. I'm trying to stray away from fan art and fan animations and into a professional level.

Of course, I'll probably update here and then with some fan art ' v' // I've been really inspired by Legend of Korra and would love to illustrate more of the characters.

Heart and Reborn Fan animation are discontinued. I have decided that many of these projects, while I had valued during the time of production, no longer meet up to my current vision and standards.

Finally, thank you all for your support and encouragement since I joined dA. You all are amazing and inspire me just as much as I try to inspire others ; v; //

OKAY so heey guys. Long time no talk. How have you all been? School's been taking up most all of my time so I can only update here and there. Heck of a long year so far = u=

But since it's almost Christmas Break, I decided to be productive and open up chibi commissions for you all /o/. I've never really taken my time to drawing chibi style, so i thought this would be a wonderful way to get myself to do so.

Examples of what my chibi commissions will look like:



They'll be 8 dollars per chibi drawing. If you want to have another chibi character added into the drawing, it'd be an additional 5 more dollars.

I only accept payment though PAYPAL.

Yes, I am very excited. Got alot of stuff to do for the summer break. Of course, I have to finish up some commissions and if I am prepared for new ones orz  Chapter 2 and 3 of HEART is in progress of being written, and I have fan art for Naruto, Bleach, etc. I am unsure of any animation projects after Kakashi vs Sasuke...ugh.

Either way, several months of not having to deal with school. *-*

This morning, I recieved an envelope congratulating me for placing third in the 6th District Congressional Art competition, with a scholarship offer of 2,500 to The Art Institute of Atlanta.

Sorry for another rant journal, but woke up yesterday morning feeling dizzy with a headache, sore body, stomachache, and a fever. Probably from mild to severe dehydration. The heat isn't really helping at all.

And I still feel sorta shitty...

So these past few months, many of my followers would know about my manga and about how hard I try to develop my drawing style, and it is a very gradual process for me. Some people may disagree that developing your own style takes years to do so, but I strongly disagree with them. Kubo and Kishimoto both drastically improved their "styles" since they began their mangas, but their drawing most likely originated from the influences of DBZ. My first influence in drawing anime is Bleach, and currently, by realistic animes such as Naruto, Vinland Saga, and Death note.

As an artist, I see decent development in my style, but it is offending when people tell me that my style "looks like Bleach".

Your point?

To me, it implies that you are accusing me of plagiarism or copying someone's style, in which I am not. It is frustrating when people point out the resemblance because I am definitely working on it. I'd take years to completely change my style and then continue drawing my manga and any other anime art if that is acceptable.

My self-pride and effort as an artist is really beginning to erode. I understand that many followers watch me because of my Bleach art, but for those who believe I am copying Tite Kubo, you are wrong. I do not have any intention to plagiarize.

Now that concludes my little rant. :l

Hey.

So this isn't KL, but ~Rainshade, his girlfriend.

Or ex-girlfriend now.

We were together for 18 months and a half, and we broke up on Tuesday, February 1st, 2011.

Long story short, we decided that we're really just friends more than anything... sure, we had our "I love you"s at the end of MSN convos and the little hearts we typed. But that was really it - we were more or less just friends, thinking we were in love. As a matter of fact, we've found out you got nothing figured out at fifteen.

Besides, he lives in Georgia state. I'm proud to be Canadian. We did meet each other in person once, and we could make this work if we still felt the same way... but we don't.

So, yeah. The relationship didn't end badly and this has nothing to do with either of us mistreating the other or doing something wrong or anything. For the record, when you guys look at KL's art and think he's an amazing artist, know that he's an amazing boyfriend and person too and really knows how to treat a girl right.

It's all good. We're still the best of friends and I'll continue to run and host his contests and everything. I'm the only one for the job anyway. Haha.

I know I haven't been keeping uo with them at all lately, and I apologize to those who have commissioned and also to those who are waiting

Right now, I am reconsidering changing some of the rules and pricings of my commissions since many that I have recieved are tedious and unreasonable to me. The changes will not affect the prices of the current commissions on hold, but for now, I am cutting their prices in half for the (year long) delay.

I am still working on some of them while keeping up with 's animation deadline sometime in the spring. Please be patient I'll finish them eventually
